John “Jack” Hansen of RR 2, Covington, age 69, died Wednesday morning, June 3, in Carle Foundation Hospital at Urbana, Illinois. He was born in Roscommon County, Ireland, October 27, 1911, the son of John and Margaret Noone Hansen. April 26, 1961, he married Lois Shute, who survives. He owned and operated Siesta Village Mobile Home Park and was a member of Elks Lodge and American Business Club at Danville, The Aircraft Owner’s Pilots Association and Indiana Home Manufacturing Association.

Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carolyn Wait of RR 2, Covington; two stepsons, William A. Boswell of rural Perrysville and Carl R. Boswell of Houma, Louisiana; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Danville, Illinois, with Rev. Leo Bates officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery. - thanks so very much to "S" for all the work on this site
